We understand your health information is private. That’s why we are dedicated to protecting any personal information we receive from you.
When we refer to personal data, we mean any information that identifies you, such as your name, date of birth and address.
We will never use your information for research or planning without asking you first.
How long do we keep your personal data for?
We retain personal data in accordance the Department of Health, NHS England and other professional bodies. This means that for private patients we will keep all personal data, including your questionnaires, report and any correspondence to you, for 8 years.
Will we share your information?
We will only share your personal information with organisations involved in your care (such as your GP) if you give your consent for us to do so, unless we have a legal obligation to share with another party.
What are my rights?
The UK GDPR allows various rights for people whose data is being processed. The rights are not absolute and sometimes do not apply. Where you wish to exercise your rights, you may do, free of charge, (unless in specific circumstances were you will be informed in advance) by contacting us at thedivergentpath@outlook.com. We will respond with 28 days.

These are circumstances in which you may ask us to stop processing your data, but we must otherwise keep the data. For example, where requested by law.

You can ask for a copy of your data in a format that can be readily transferred to another company.

You can object to the processing of your personal data when we are relying on a legal obligation or public duty legal basis or where we are processing in our legitimate interest, especially for direct marketing
Automated decisions: UK GDPR Article 22
Where a computer makes a decision about you without human intervention, for example in an online loan application you have the right to know how the decision was arrived at.
